Director

Pastor Duane Burton holds the Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree from Calvary Chapel Bible College. Duane served at Calvary Chapel Bible College, Murrieta for six years in teaching and administrative roles. He has planted and managed two Christian radio stations for the Calvary Satellite Network before joining their Twin Falls, Idaho up-link facility serving as an administrator for the Calvary Satellite Network and as the assistant Pastor at Calvary Chapel Twin Falls, Idaho. Duane is currently serving as an assisting Pastor at International Prison Ministries and Living in Christ Ministries, where he teaches in prisons and churches across the United States and overseas. Pastor Duane in currently serving as the Director of the Calvary Chapel Bible College Dallas/Fort Worth and  teaches John, Acts, Romans, Galatians and Ephesians.

Faculty

Pastor David Bunnell

Pastor Bunnell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Print Journalism and Government from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY. From May 1994-June 2002 Pastor Bunnell was the Education Director for the PA Pro-Life Federation. He served for two years on staff as youth minister at East Shore Baptist Church, Harrisburg, PA. Mr. Bunnell has worked in evangelism with both Word of Life and Global Missions Fellowship. He has taken part in 17 evangelistic church-planting campaigns in Romania, 1 in Brazil, 1 in Colombia, 1 in Nicaragua, and done evangelistic work in Mexico. Mr. Bunnell is a certified evangelism trainer for EvanTell ministries and has conducted evangelism training for several churches in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Texas, and several cities in Romania. Pastor Bunnell is currently engaged in church planting in Romania. Pastor Bunnell teaches Evangelism.

Pastor Robert Ferrington

Pastor Robert Ferrington is the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Rock Harvest Church in Cedar Hill, TX since September of 2004.  Pastor  Ferrington has served in the youth ministries at Calvary Chapel Anaheim and Calvary Chapel La Mirada, the assistant ministry at Calvary Chapel La Mirada, and has taught at Calvary Chapel Bible Ministry School in La Mirada, CA. Pastor Ferrington teaches the Pastoral Epistles.

Dr. Hal Harless holds a Ph.D. in Theology from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary, Shreveport, LA. Dr. Harless is the author of How Firm a Foundation: The Dispensations in Light of the Divine Covenants and several articles in theological journals. He and his wife, Lois Ann, have three children and seven grandchildren. Dr. Harless is senior Pastor of Foundation Fellowship in Greenville, TX and teaches Apologetics, Hebrews, Hermeneutics, Inductive Bible Study, Revelation, Romans, and Systematic Theology.

Mr. Nichols holds a Bachelor of Science Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Mr. Nichols has taught at Moody Bible Institute's Northwest campus. He has served as a Youth Director and Children's Ministry Coordinator with Calvary Chapel Spokane Valley and has been on teaching missions to Hungary and Uganda.  Mr. Nichols teaches Genesis, Minor Prophets, and Simplified Hebrew.

Pastor Chuck Smith has been the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa since 1965.  Pastor Chuck is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ in the ministry of His calling. He is heard nationwide, daily on The Word for Today radio program and is the author of many books and videos. Pastor Chuck's ministry touches millions worldwide through the church and its related ministries, including Bible colleges in Europe, The Word for Today, Calvary Chapel Music, KWVE Radio, Calvary Chapel Satellite Network International, Calvary Chapel Conference Center, Calvary Chapel Christian Camp, Maranatha Christian Academy, Calvary Chapel High School, and Calvary Chapel Bible College. CCBC is one aspect of Pastor Chuck's ministry and is accountable to the board of directors of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa.  Pastor Chuck teaches the Old and New Testament survey classes via tape or CD.

In January of 2005, Pastor John became the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Garland, TX. After 10 years as the Pastor of Calvary Chapel of Irvine in Southern California and a teacher at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, John, his wife Lisa, and their 3 children followed God's leading to Texas joining the staff of Living in Christ and International Prison Ministries. Pastor John has also taught and ministered at various bible colleges as well as teaching and training pastors and church leaders in over a dozen third world nations in Africa, Asia, Central America and Eastern Europe. Pastor John teaches Acts, Galatians, Ephesians, Biblical Discipleship, Biblical Ministry and Biblical Counseling. 

Mr. John Vargis

John Vargis holds the Bachelor of Theology and the Master of Divinity degrees from the University of Serampore, India and the Master of Arts degree (Philosophy), from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India.  He was the Associate Director of the Operation Mobilization National Missionary Training Institute, where he also taught Missiology, Bible, Religion and Leadership.  He was also a lecturer at the University of Christian Training in Florida.  John Vargis has been an assistant Pastor at Union Baptist Church in India and assisted in the mission church of Coral Baptist Church in Florida.  John Vargis teaches Biblical Missions and Cults and World Religions.
