Information Vision The
vision of Calvary Chapel Bible College (CCBC) is to develop
Christian leaders who have been conformed to the image of Christ by the power
of the Holy Spirit through the academic and devotional study of God's Word. CCBC
desires to see each student excel in several areas as expressed in the
following objectives:

Doctrinal Statement WE BELIEVE in the inerrancy of Scripture, that
the Bible, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired,
inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally
existent in three separate persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy
6:4; Matthew 28:19). WE BELIEVE that God the Father is the personal,
transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things (Genesis 1:1 ff.). WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is fully God and
fully human, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for
the atonement of our sins by His vicarious death on the Cross, was bodily
resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to the right hand of
God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for His Church. After Jesus
ascended to Heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in
Jerusalem, enabling them to fulfill His command to preach the Gospel to the
entire world, an obligation shared by all believers today (Matthew 1:18; John
3:16; Acts 1:9, 11; 2:1–41; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 3:18; and the Gospels). WE BELIEVE that all people are by nature lost and separated from God
and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and
forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of God through our Lord
Jesus Christ. When a person places his/her faith in Christ as his/her Savior,
that person is immediately born again, sealed by the Holy Spirit, all his/her
sins are forgiven, and becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with
the Lord (John 3:16–19; 5:24; Romans 5:8-9; Ephesians 1:13–14; 2:8–10; Titus
3:5). WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who came forth
from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and the
coming judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower for service all who
believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every
believer in Jesus Christ. We believe that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and
Guide. WE BELIEVE in the gifts of the Holy Spirit
mentioned in the Bible, and that the use of the gifts is valid for today within
the guidelines of Scripture. We believe that love is more important than the
most spectacular gifts, and without love all exercise of the spiritual gifts is
compromised (John WE BELIEVE that church government should be
simple rather than a complex bureaucracy. We depend on the Holy Spirit’s
guidance in establishing the leadership within the church in accordance with
the Scriptures (1 Timothy 3:1–13; Titus 1:5–9). WE BELIEVE in the pre-tribulation rapture of
the Church and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ with His Church to rule on the
earth during the WE BELIEVE in the two New Testament ordinances
of Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. These ordinances are observed in
obedience to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ as acts of love and devotion
and are not necessary for one’s salvation (Matthew 28:19–20; Luke 22:19–20; 1
Corinthians 11:24–25). WE SEEK to teach the Word of God in such a
way that its message can be applied to an individual’s life, leading that
person towards greater maturity in Jesus Christ. WE REJECT: (1) The belief that true Christians
can be demon possessed, (2) the “Positive Confession Movement” which teaches
that God can be commanded to heal or work miracles according to man’s will, (3)
the “Prosperity Movement” which teaches that it is God’s will for every believer
to be wealthy, (4) human prophecy that supersedes the Scripture, (5) the
incorporation of humanistic and secular psychology and philosophy into Biblical
teaching, and (6) the overemphasis of spiritual gifts, experiential signs and
wonders to the exclusion of biblical teaching. WE BELIEVE the only true basis for Christian
fellowship is Jesus Christ’s (agape) love, which is greater than any
differences we possess, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves
Christians. WE BELIEVE the worship of God should be
fruitful. Therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation
that we have been truly worshipping Him. Contact

Class Admissions New
Students Calvary Chapel Bible College (CCBC) Dallas/Fort Worth desires
students who are committed to Jesus Christ.
Students are required to read, understand, and respect the college's
statement of purpose and faith. Since CCBC
is an undergraduate institution, the prerequisite for enrollment to any degree
program is evidence of completion of high school, G.E.D., or the successful
completion of the California High School Proficiency Exam. Home-schooled applicants must provide an
official record of completion from their home school association. Those students who cannot verify high school
graduation must fulfill this requirement through traditional means or take the
G.E.D. equivalency test before being awarded a degree from Calvary Chapel
Bible College. If no high school
completion verification can be provided, students are encouraged to apply for
the Certificate of Completion program and/or continue to work towards
completion of their high school requirements.
If after or during the completion of the certificate program the student
fulfills his or her high school requirements, he or she may elect to upgrade
his or her status to the Associate of Theology degree program. Once all application material has
been received, evaluated, and accepted into the program; students will receive
the CCBC "Welcome Packet".
This will include a letter of acceptance, registration information,
courses offered, and important dates to remember. Due to the time required to process the application
(2 weeks), students must adhere to the application dead lines. New Students who desire to apply for admission to any
program offered by CCBC must submit a completed application. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated
until all materials are received.
Applications will be considered by the admissions committee when the
following items have been received:
Send completed application to:
New students who have been admitted
to CCBC and remain inactive for 12 consecutive months (evidenced by a
lack of initial course registration) should submit a new application for
admission and a $25 application fee. English Language Requirement Applicants who are not native English speakers are required
to demonstrate proficiency in English by submitting satisfactory TOEFL (Test of
English as a Foreign Language) scores taken within two years prior to the date
of application. The minimum TOEFL
score is 500. Information about TOEFL
may be obtained from TOEFL Transfer Students Students who desire to transfer
coursework from another institution into CCBC for credit should request
all official transcripts along with a catalog containing the previous college's
statement of faith and course descriptions to be sent to the registrar for
evaluation. Transfer credits may only be
used to fulfill elective classes.
Transfer students should not assume that all Bible coursework will
transfer. The Registrar makes all final
decisions after carefully considering each course and comparing it to the required
coursework of CCBC. CCBC
will transfer a maximum of 10 semester units.
Transfer students are required to submit a completed application
identical to that of "New Students." Transfer students who possess an
Associates or Batchelor's degree from an approved/accredited college or
university with a grade of "C" or better, may pursue the Bachelor of
Biblical Studies degree. The
transferable general education coursework must be distributed over specific
disciplines as follows:
Transferable electives are
considered to be courses that are academic subjects. All courses that are technical, performance,
non-academic, or vocational are not eligible for transfer. College preparatory or remedial courses are
not eligible for transfer credit. A
student interested in transferring credits must send official copies of his or
her academic transcripts along with the institution's course catalog to: Calvary Chapel Bible College If as a result of evaluation, the
student's coursework is insufficient to transfer the required 60 general
education credits, he or she can fulfill the necessary general education
requirements at a local community college prior to petitioning for graduation. Re-entering
Students Students who have officially
withdrawn from CCBC, or who have been inactive for 24 consecutive
months, may return to classes within one year of their official withdrawal
(evidenced by completion of an "Official Withdrawal" form) or
automatic withdraw (evidenced by non-attendance with the student) without
penalty. After one year, a $25
reinstatement fee will be charged. If
the student returns within three (3) years from an official or automatic
withdraw, he or she may re-enter under their original catalog. However, if the student enters after three
(3) years, a new application must be submitted and graduation requirements will
fall under the current catalog. Non-degree Credit Students Non-degree credit status is for
those who are not qualified to enter into a degree program, but desire to take
the course for academic credit, or those students who are qualified for
admission into a degree program, but desire not to do so at this time. Such students may audit or take courses for
credit. A maximum of ten (10) courses
may be completed for credit before the student must enroll in a particular
degree program with CCBC. There is no limit to the amount of courses
taken under audit status. The audit
student is exempt from sending academic transcripts. Non-degree credit students are required to
submit: 1. Completed application for admission. 2. Full tuition costs 3. A non-refundable application fee of $25 Admission as a non-degree credit student does not guarantee
future admission into a CCBC degree program. Extension Campus Transfer Students Calvary Chapel Bible College extension campus students who
